All the parameters needed to configure your email client to send and receive messages using our mail service can be found in the informative section about the hosting server, in My Products section, by clicking on the blue info icon.
Although not mandatory, if you use IMAP protocol we recommend defining the following in advanced options of your mail client:
Root folder path: INBOX
To increase the security level of communication with our mail service, it's also recommended to turn on the SSL options for both incoming (POP3/IMAP) and outgoing (SMTP) protocols. Please note: when you turn on the SSL option for the incoming mail server, the port for POP3 protocol should change automatically from 110 to 995, for IMAP from 143 to 993. If this doesn't happen, pleace change the ports manually. Also, despite the fact that it usually works on "Auto" setting, sometimes the SSL type has to be manually set to "SSL/TLS" for incoming, as well as "STARTTLS" for outgoing mail server.
To be able to use our SMTP service, you need to turn on the SMTP authentication - in "Outgoing Server" section turn on the option "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication", and select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".
Please note: outgoing (SMTP) server port should be changed to 587 for both SSL and non-SSL connections.
